I guess I have a new favorite song now! :D

So this Alexander Rybak makes the best music ever. His songs really are amazing, at least to me. Today when I was listen to some other songs of him I found this one which is called Europe´s Skies. It´s pretty cool. I have the video of it at the begining of ny blog.

I guess you can tell that I really do like this guy and his music...haha...

His lyrics are just pretty cool to me and together with this irish sounding music, it´s just pretty cool.

I just heard this guy, he is amazing!

Just a couple days ago my frined was listening to this song called Fairytale. It´s by Alexander Rybak. He actually won the Grandprix 2 years ago. He is from Norway, but his music kind of sounds irish to me. :D
But his music is just amazing. So the video you find on the bottom of my blog is actually this particular song.

Ok, so when I went to the library the other day, I just found this really cool book. It´s called Fablehaven.
It just totally got me. I started reading it and I couldn´t stop anymore.



So, anyone who knows me, knows that I usually don´t read a lot. A book really needs to be amazing in order to get me reading it as fast as I read this one. I totally felt in love with it. I even read while I was eating breakfast. I just totally got into it. So anyone who hasn´t read it yet should totally do it. But be careful, it´s a series, so there are 5 books. But it´s totally worth the time you spend reading it. :D

Here is what the first book is about:
For centuries mystical creatures of all description were gathered into a hidden refuge called Fablehaven to prevent their extinction. The sanctuary survives today as one of the last strongholds of true magic. Enchanting? Absolutely. Exciting? You bet. Safe? Well, actually, quite the opposite.

Kendra and her brother, Seth, have no idea that their grandfather is the current caretaker of Fablehaven. Inside the gated woods, ancient laws keep relative order among greedy trolls, mischievous satyrs, plotting witches, spiteful imps, and jealous fairies. Don´t worry, I wrote that not on my own, I´m not that good in duing things like that. :D I copied it from amazon. I thlught they just did a much better job than I would ever do. haha.

By the way, this series also does excist in german. it´s called Fabelheim.

General Conference

I guess I was pretty lucky to be around right when general conference was. Well actually I wasn´t, I planed it that way! :D
But it was so amazing.



I even had tickets to all 4 sessions. To be honest, usually it doesn´t matter where you listen to it, but when you are right there, where it takes place, it´s something super special. And that makes it more special to you.



Another really cool thing that happened during conference was me meeting someone really cool, someone I really like. =)
So during the Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon session, I went to the Deseret Book Store downtown Salt Lake City. And guess who was there also?! John Bytheway!



That just freaking made my day. First going to confeence and than getting to meet him. So he signed my book and we just some small talk for a few minutes. It was just really cool. funny how life treats you sometimes! =)

Skiing in Solitude on April 1

Sorry I haven´t written for a while. But I´ll keep you update again.
So one of my first things I did here, was going skiing. So Ines took me up to Solitude and tought me how to skate skii.



I have to admitt it can be a lot of fun, once you figured it out who to do it. :D
But it´s pretty exhausting as well. now I get why people do this as a work out. :-P

I guess I did not do to bad. At least I hope so. ;)

We didn´t do that for very long, because it was really stress ful. But I enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains.





It was also really cool to just hang out there and joke around with Ines and Lea.



Lea actually did pretty good on her skiis, though she fell a lot. But I did too, so that´s not a big of a deal. But we seriously just had a blast. :D

I made it

I thought it´s about time to let you know that I made it. :D
I arrived saftly in the US.
My flight was kind of rough, but it was totally worth it! =)
So after traveling for about 16 hours I was freaking exhausted. But if you take a look at some of my pictures you can see a lot of pretty cool things I saw while I was on my way from the JFK Airport in New York over to Salt lake City. =)



Doesn´t it look pretty? That was at lake Michigan. To be honest, as soon as I saw that, I was actually thinking that I am heading into the next ice age. haha... :P



It´s pretty much ine of the best feelings ever to be above the clouds. =) And it really does look amazing. :D

Well I actually gotta go now, because general conference starts in a while and I need to get ready. but I will post more infos and pictures as soon as I have more time. because I want to keep you update. =)

I´m back

Hey guys, I´m really sorry that I haven´t written in forever! But now, that we have faster internet, I´m able to keep you update! =)
Ok to ne honest, I´m kinda lazy, so I at least try to keep you update! :P

Well a lot of things happned since I´m back home. I actually live back home at my parents house again. Sometimes it can be kind of stressfull, but it´s actually a lot of fun! =)

So there is a lot of stuff going on in my life right now. What exactly that is, you can read it in the next few posts of you want to! =)
